Our History

Started in 2012, the North Hill Community Garden is run by a small group of volunteers who meet monthly to plan activities and improvements, tackle management issues, and serve as liaisons to our community.   We all share a desire to gather, to learn, to grow food and to help strengthen our community.

Our Plots

In the past, we rented our 41 plots to gardeners of all ages, abilities and levels of expertise. If you are interested in renting one of our plots, we welcome any gardener living in the city of Stillwater.  You can be a novice or a seasoned pro.  For a list of our frequently asked questions, please visit our FAQs page.

Please visit our Plot Application page to see the layout of our plots, our plot fees and to download forms needed to apply for one of our plots.

Our Volunteers

Our garden was started by volunteers who wanted to build a community space  where residents of Stillwater could meet, get their hands dirty, and grow something beautiful.  Our garden continues to be run by an all volunteer staff.  Without the many hours our neighbors have generously given to our little slice of heaven, we could not continue this opportunity.   We thank them for making our garden a special space for all residents of Stillwater.

Interested Stillwater gardeners are welcome to join our hard working volunteers. Just drop us a line at info@northhillcommunitygarden.org
